7 EASY STEPS to AVOID getting SICK while you travel

The last thing you want when you’ve got your whole travel adventure planned ahead of you is to fall ill to sicknesses that will affect your entire experience.

#1. Get your body travel-ready!

For the few days before you are about to travel, take care of your body and get prepared to have the time of your life. This preparation consists of at least 8 hours of sleep each night, drinking plenty of water, eating clean and healthy foods, and, if possible, getting some simple exercises in. Importantly, if you need any vaccinations before you enter a certain country that requires you to do so, remember to get that jab!

#2. Stay hydrated

While you’re exploring new and exciting experiences, you may forget to keep yourself refreshed. But remember, drinking water is vital for your health! Drink plenty of water. More than when you’re sat at home for sure! Carry a bottle of water with you at all times and drink up! Cheers!

#3. Get plenty of beauty-sleep!

Just like how we’ve mentioned it above, getting plenty of sleep will do you wonders! Just because you’re on holiday doesn’t mean that sleep automatically becomes something alien to your body. Sleep well and wake up feeling amazing! Ready for your adventure. Ready to explore. Ready to explore your paradise!

#4. Slow down

We know, we know! Plenty of things to see, with so little time right? Well slow down! We don’t want to burn out before the second half of your vacation. It would be a better idea to take your time to truly explore and get to know places that are unfamiliar to you. Sometimes, it’s the quality and not the quantity of what you have explored that really counts!

#5. Eat well

By eating well, we don’t mean to eat every chance you get. Nor do we mean to eat as little as possible. Eating with a balanced attitude as well as eating clean and healthy foods like vegetables and steamed foods will do you wonders, keep you energised and ready to travel like the champion you are!

#6. Pack smart

Keep the germs at bay and carry with you some hand sanitizer and some clean wipes too! You’ll thank us later!

#7. Have fun!

Remember to have fun and laugh a lot! You’ll keep your immune system stronger that way!
