When her corgi unexpectedly gave birth to a litter of puppies, a woman in Bangkok knew she had to come up with a way to pay the expenses that naturally comes with caring for an army of doggos. Thus, Corgi in the Garden was born.

Located in Phasi Charoen district of Bangkok, this rustic dog cafe boasts 12 adorable corgis and 1 unforgettable dining experience. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or have some cake as the dogs roam freely in the dining area, vying for the diners’ love and attention. All 12 dogs - now all grown up - have adorable names like Pumpkin and Babycorn, and word on the street is to look out for one particular corgi named Porkchop. Her floofy booty will be hard to miss!

There’s even an outdoor play area where you can just chill and mingle with the corgis on the grass. Just remember to be mindful of proper pet cafe etiquette when handling the dogs. Let them come to you!

In order to enjoy this unique pet cafe experience, there is a 350 baht entrance fee (around RM48) that includes a drink and a dessert. Food-wise, you can expect standard cafe items like iced macchiatos, chocolate, matcha lattes, fudge cake and ice cream. Instagrammers will certainly have a field day taking shots of the #drinks, #desserts and #doggos.

Unlike the usual pet cafes, Corgi in the Garden only admits customers in sessions so the corgis don’t feel overwhelmed by the crowd. The limited amount of diners that are admitted per session means that you’ll get to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere where you won’t need to fight for the corgis’ affection. However, be sure to arrive at the cafe as early as possible because they don’t take reservations.
