Indulge in a day of traditional Japanese landscapes in Gifu prefecture, standout attractions in Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go. Look forward to quaint historic streets, an unique village, stunning mountain landscapes and sample authentic local delicacies.

 

Setting off from Nagoya station, sit back and relax on the bus journey enjoying the landscape turn from an urban sprawl to the rural and rugged Northern Alps mountains, increasing the anticipation for the trip.

 

Stretch your legs at Hida Takayama where the picturesque scenery is immediately striking. This well-preserved castle town is known as 'Little Kyoto' for its historic district filled with character and townhouses from the Edo period. Wander through this area and have a poke around the various shops. The surrounding forested mountains and Miyagawa River flowing nearby provide the perfect backdrop.

 

Rest and recharge for lunch which features local delicacies of the region where Hida beef is the star of the show. Depending on the departure date, you may enjoy this prized meat in either a sukiyaki or shabu-shabu style.

 

With bellies full, make your way to the World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go which is famous for its unique “Gassho-zukuri” style thatched-roof houses. Explore this special village to get a true sense of what rural life in Japan was like.   5. For foreign visitors, English and Chinese tourist information handout will be provided
  6. English speaking staff will also travel with you and give you the basic information such as gathering place and gathering time.
  7. Please note that English speaking staff won't lead you or advise you on the tour.
  8. According to Japanese Road Traffic Act the infant who is under 2 years old can't join this tour.
  9. Please kindly note that there's a possibility that the tour date which you selected has already fully booked when you making a reservation at our site during peak season.In this case we apologize sincerely for the inconvenience, And we will contact you to advise you an available tour date. 
  10. Any extension, upgrade, meals, hotels, supplement for flight or etc. is subject to surcharge apply.
  11. All prices and itinerary are subject to change with or without prior notice if there is currency fluctuation, local agent cost revised or changes, not valid during High Seasons, Public Holiday & Long Weekend, etc.
  12. No refund or reduction will be made to any person who does not participate in any meal, sightseeing or accommodation during the course of the ground arrangement.

Amendment & Cancellation Policy:-

  • Any change in departure date / hotel / special request for ground arrangement will be charge RM200 per amendment per pax.
  • All amendment subject to availability.
  • Deposit is strictly non-refundable if cancel without a valid reason or proof of documents support.
  • Cancellation standard is based on our business hour (until 17:30 in Japan time).
  • Any cancellation received between 22-30 days prior to departure date will incur a 50% tour fare charge.
  • Any cancellation received within 21 days prior to departure date will incur a 100% tour fare charge.
  • No Show or Cancellation after Guaranteed will be charged 100% of total amount.

Payment Policy:-

  • Full payment to be paid upon reservation.
  • Payments made by cheque, telegraphic and bank transfer are only valid upon the proof of the transfer being forwarded to The Company. All bookings shall only be valid upon the confirmation of clearance by respective bank.

Passport and Visa :-

  • It is every passenger’s responsibility to carry a valid passport and have obtained the appropriate visas when travelling. Please ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of your holiday.
